Course description:

With the enactment of the 2010 ADAAG standards there are many changes and there has been an enormous increase in Department of Justice involvement amongst municipalities, some of which has come to some very costly settlement agreements. This class is designed specifically for municipalities and will go into great detail on the requirements for curb ramps, public rights of way, parks and municipal facilities. It will provide a logical approach to compliance, planning and achieving overall access. This class is the first of its kind, designed specifically for the nuances of municipal compliance.
